Under the global financial crisis triggered by USA’s sub-loan crisis, the global mining industry has a more challenging competition and China’s mining industry has to face a situation with less capital. In order to maintain their presence and development, the global mining enterprises shall reinforce all financing tools and shall pay more attention on receivable account management. This paper discusses the causes of and approaches to receivable accounts, and presents a method to efficiently use the receivable account capital.

Boshan with a reputation of “town of pottery and glass” is one of five pottery and glass bases in China. As economic incorporation goes faster, the pottery and glass is facing a challenging competition. This paper analyzes the situation and issues of in Boshan pottery and glass development in Shandong, compares the global development trend of pottery and glass industry, and presents a strategy to boost Boshan pottery and glass industry based on the successful experiences.

Petroleum as a non-recoverable strategic resource plays a key role in economic development. China’s rapid economic development depends largely upon the international petroleum market. This paper, based on the increasing demands for petroleum but an inadequate supply and decreasing reserve, expounds limitations existing in Chinese petroleum strategy, and presents a long-term petroleum strategy to ensure China’s petroleum guarantee, that is, to establish a multi-channel petroleum supply, to establish a petroleum reserve system, to develop alternative energy, to economize petroleum resource, to explore oceanic petroleum resource.
